The Government Board agreed last Wednesday to tender the Dissabtes Joves program organized by the Department of Youth of the City of Dénia. Dissabtes Joves is a program that consists of the management of the leisure and leisure time offer, to the youth public of Dénia, and aims to offer young people a space with stable leisure and free time alternatives of quality, specially designed, playful, participatory, educative, egalitarian and free on Saturday nights; collaborate with the reduction of demand and abusive use of alcohol and drugs among young people; promote the public use of public facilities and spaces at unusual times; and promote and disseminate among the youth of Dénia the different programs and activities of the Department of Youth.
This service is aimed at young people between the ages of 13 and 17, and is part of the programs of the Department of Youth of the City Council, seeking to bring together the largest number of young people from Dénia, as well as promoting creative activities, of a participatory nature, which allows young people to have healthy interpersonal relationships.
The duration of the contract will be 12 months from the signing of the contract, containing in the indicated term an effective and continuous programming and execution of activities for at least 9 months, with the completion of 30 Saturdays (the day can be changed with coordination with the Department of Youth).
The winning entity or person will offer a project that contains: The presentation, coordination and execution of a program of activities whose specific purpose is to achieve the objectives of the program; The programmed activities contained in the project will have to be carried out during a single day of the weekend (Saturday), and the following schedules must be respected, in any case: From 19 to 22 h, from January to March, as well as November and December and from 19 to 23 h, from April to June, as well as September and October.
Within the programmed activities, it will be necessary to take into account to be able to include the activities proposed by the young people who participate, with consensus with the Department of Youth. In addition, activities related to music, games workshops, equality, social relations ... will be scheduled following the criteria of being open, fun, participatory and educational intentional actions.
