Minister of Justice and Judge Grande-Marlaska participate in a conference on the reform of the penal code in Dénia

The next 1 of July enters in vigo the reform of the penal code in the country, and five days before Dénia will become the capital of the legal debate in Spain, with a day that has aroused great interest. Lex Forum has organized a debate on the reform of the Criminal Code and Law of Criminal Procedure that will take place on Friday 26 in June at the Real Club Náutico de Dénia.

The day will begin at 9: 45 hours with the opening thereof by the Deputy Minister of Justice, Áurea Roldán, and the Dean of the Bar Association of Alicante, Fernando
Candela, who will be accompanied by the director of the Foundation Lex Forum Dénia, Enrique Sastre.

The inaugural conference at 10: 10 morning, payable by the president of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, Manuel Marchena Gómez, who will speak on The imminent reform of the Criminal Procedure Act on new technologies.

It will be moderated by Áurea Roldán Martín and will involve Judge of the High Court and member of the General Council of the Judiciary Fernando Great; the periosista of The Razón Fernando Velasco; Chief Inspector of the National Police assigned to the National Police Academy, Julio Saavedra Martín; Luís Vallés Caused, Lieutenant Colonel of the Civil Guard and Head of the Department of Technical and Operational Support; and Elena Domínguez Peco, Tax and Advisor to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice.

In the 18: 30 hours the justice minister, Rafael Catalá Polo, participate with Enrique Sastre at the close of the day.

The conference has attracted great interest from civil society. In fact, the 30 hours of opening the registration period, the planned capacity was completed. For this reason, the organization has decided to change the room where the conference is held, looking at the same location but with greater
