It is already a bridge of the Constitution and, as every year, families have taken the opportunity to walk around the city with some tourists who come to Dénia by these dates. However, this time the municipality does not have one of its main attractions: the medieval market.
The event was returning this year to Marquis de Campo, leaving the Loreto street I had been welcoming him lately. But, finally, neither the commercial artery of Dénia will enjoy the market.
The reason? The contest to tender the event has been declared void by the City Council. At the end of the deadlines for submission, a single company knocked on the doorstep of the session, but it did not present the requested documentation and, for that reason, this proposal was declared void on Wednesday and the Dianenses are left without their medieval weekend.
