The Jardí de l'Albarda will host cultural and informative events organized by the Conselleria

The Mediterranean garden of L'Albarda, located in the municipality of Pedreguer within the territorial scope of the Natural Resources Management Plan of Montgó, has aroused the interest of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development.

This Tuesday, the area minister, Elena Cebrián, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Foundation for the Conservation of the Mediterranean Fauna (Fundem) to establish a regulation of the use of the Finca l'Albarda and with the objective that the Administration Autonomous may carry out tasks of interpretation of the natural heritage in this endowment, property of the group.

With the signing of this agreement, the Conselleria is authorized, free of charge, to use a large part of the spaces of the farm, for holding meetings and events of a scientific and cultural nature, such as congresses, meetings of the Governing Board of Natural Park Montgó, technical meetings, environmental education courses, as well as interpretation and training tasks for technical teams.

The agreement includes the commitment of the Department to provide technical advice on conservation actions carried out by the organization, and also to establish a joint plan for seed and plant treatment in collaboration with the Center for Forest Research and Experimentation of the Ministry, to introduce them later in the Mediterranean garden of l'Albarda, so that it becomes a showcase of biodiversity of the Valencian flora.

Similarly, the Autonomous Administration undertakes to use the garden of l'Albarda to introduce, under the care of Fundem, the greatest possible amount of native fauna for reproduction and release. The president of the foundation, Enrique Montoliu, was present at the signing of the agreement
