The II Crecer Innovando Creama Forum focuses on digital tourism

Digital tourism will be the common thread of the II Edition of Foro Crecer Innovando Creama. The event, which will consist of four sessions, will feature professionals who will address, from different angles, the trends that are emerging in the sector and how to adapt business models to the new reality.

Last year, the coronavirus crisis, has paralyzed such an important sector for the economy of the Valencian Community such as tourism, hence the importance of working on its recovery and on the implementation of initiatives that adapt to the new needs that arise in the environment. In this sense, digitization plays a crucial role both in promoting destinations and in investigating new scenarios and trends that are emerging in this area. Therefore, the objective of this forum is to make this new reality visible and to publicize tools that can help entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized companies linked to the tourism sector to continue developing their professional activity.

CREAMA, through the Creama Technological ADL-XàbiaFor its part, it has been implementing the Beachworking project for years, from which the attraction of digital talent and the organization of courses, conferences and events based on New Technologies is promoted to create a technological community that serves as a basis for new entrepreneurs and digital nomads. It is the second year that the Growing Innovating Forum has been organized together with the CEEI of Elche.

The opening of the event will be on Wednesday, May 19 at 16.00:XNUMX p.m., and will feature Julia Company, General Director of IVACE, Marta Bañuls and Toni Miragall councilors for economic development and tourism respectively of the Xàbia City Council, Rosario Donderis, manager of Creama and José Javier García, president of CEEI Elche.

After the inauguration, the first session will start, which will focus on the value of open data. Antonia Ferrer, director of the Madphy research group, will address the use that can be made of the data that public administrations make available to society to improve knowledge about tourists and bring the tourist offer closer to the needs and new concerns of those visitors.

The next sessions will take place on May 26, June 2 and 9 and they will discuss topics such as teleworking and how to bet on travel tourism to attract new tourists, digital marketing and strategies to attract tourism, as well like the profile of the new traveler and what are the keys to conquer it.
