The Intensive Care Unit -UCI- of the Hospital de Dénia it has improved its comfort conditions, the communication between the professionals and the relatives of the patients, besides adapting the visiting schedules.
The measures, which have been implemented in the Intensive Care Unit, focus on the extension of visiting hours - introduction of the concept of "open doors" in certain special circumstances -, the publication of a new informative guide for families, smoothing restrictions on access to the unit, new information and communication processes with patients and family members, facilitating the use of elements of personal entertainment or the improvement of structural aspects in search of a more humanized environment.
The objective is to adapt the service to the parameters of quality and humanization for which Marina Salud has bet from its beginnings, through programs such as cuidArt, the Project of the Hospital of Dénia that seeks to humanize the sanitary spaces and to contribute quality to the hospital stays through art in its different manifestations.
