Centro Deportivo Dénia and his swimming team has achieved very good results in the last edition of the Olympic Mini Jocs, held on 18 and 19 days in May. More than a hundred swimmers met in this regional competition, in which all the members of the swimming team of Centro Deportivo Dénia managed to get on the podium.
The regularity and good practices of Aqualia's team of swimmers have shown the great results obtained by the children that make up the team. In addition, Dénia Sports Center has achieved the first position in the revelation test. The head of the team, Carlos Balaguer, commented that "of this test it should be noted that they also managed to do it in a shorter time than any other team, including men, which shows once again that our team is going the best way".
In the competition, individual races with different distances of the crawl, back, breaststroke and butterfly styles were swamped.
Dénia Sports Center is grateful for the selfless participation of all the volunteers who made it possible once again that the competition could take place. In the words of the center's director, Susana Campos, "It is a luxury to be able to carry out this type of competitions that help us to promote sport in childhood, but we must highlight the enormous work of organization that entails and that is not visible to the population. If it were not for the volunteers that support us in a disinterested way, this type of competitions could not be carried out since it would suppose an enormous economic cost".
Aqualia, managing company of these sports facilities, is betting strongly on swimming, since this is one of the most complete and recommended sports to achieve a healthy life at any age. That is why, it encourages the approach and participation in water activities among all population groups, regardless of age, physical level, ... contributing their grain of sand to increase the welfare of the population of Dénia and its region .
