There are only a couple of days left until one of the events of the year returns: the D * na Festival. Its last edition, with this format, was in 2018 after two years of great success. Now, four years later, the Marineta Cassiana will host the most massive festival in Dénia.
For a few days the work on the Paseo de la Marineta Cassiana has not stopped. Time is short, because in just two days everything has to be ready for the start of the programming of the D*na Festival 2022. However, everything seems almost ready to welcome the thousands of gastronomy lovers who are waiting for them to make a pilgrimage to one of the most important gastronomic festivals in the Valencian Community.
It has been erased to say that two days after its inauguration the program of activities has not yet been published
I would like to make this comment more as a proposal for improvement for successive years than as criticism.
I am a person who has voluntarily decided to spend time in Denia, I like Denia and I want it to improve, so I am not a resident, nor a voter, but I am a taxpayer (Ibi and cleaning fees and VAT on my consumption)
I see with surprise and perhaps with indignation Ivón as one of the most important tourist-gastronomic festivals in the Valencian Community that has important public contributions (city council and generalitat)
I believe that these types of events need prior planning on the part of the visitors. These must have a national projection and perhaps an international one, let us think of those organized in Alicante, Madrid, Valladolid
San Sebastian etc.
Let's look high is the way to improve and let's not stay local, let's think of an economy that reaches everyone and not just voters. Perhaps it will serve so that the seasonality of tourism in Denia does not become endemic
