The general director of Urbanism calls the new PGE that faces the last phases a "milestone for Dénia"

November 23 from 2022 - 09: 11

The general director of Urban Planning, Vicente García Nebot, has met this week with the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, and the Councilor for Territory, Maria Josep Ripoll, to specify the next procedures related to the final approval of the General Structural Plan by the Ministry.

The General Structural Plan will enter its last phase after the provisional approval by the Dénia Town Hall in plenary session on Thursday and its referral to the Ministry of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility for its final approval, "scheduled for March or April of next year", García Nebot assured.

The director general has highlighted the "close collaboration" that the Ministry and the city council have maintained throughout the process of preparing the document.

The general director of Urbanism has affirmed that the planning document "is a much-needed milestone for Dénia and its inhabitants, since the city needs to have a legal framework that allows investors to work and establishes a city model."

Regarding the modifications suggested by the Ministry to the guide for processing urban development actions in the absence of general planning regulations, the Councilor for Territory, Maria Josep Ripoll, has informed the General Director that they are studying the letter sent by the Ministry to give him an answer. However, the director general has stressed that they are working "side by side to approve this new general plan, the ultimate objective of both administrations."

Good afternoon, there is one thing that has greatly missed me about Denia, and that is that we always rent an apartment in the urbanizations that are just behind the first line of El Raset, and it greatly strikes me that they did not make any streets with a mouth to the beach from Avda Miguel Hernández to Casa Federico. How is it possible that you have to take a turn of almost 800 meters being in the second line? How is it that there was not a minimum exit left through one of these urbanizations? I have a person in a wheelchair in my charge and they did not allow passage even for people, I am not saying for cars anymore. That is my question if there was someone to answer me.
