This year Grup Nodrissa organizes a new edition of its photographic contest on breastfeeding at the Marina Alta. And with this one there are already 25.
Since 1997, the contest has been held annually in the region. Breastfeeding is a bio-cultural process that is transmitted from generation to generation. The loss of the culture of breastfeeding is undoubtedly the most difficult thing for mothers in their decision to breastfeed.
This contest aims to normalize breastfeeding in our society through the art of photography, showing images of mothers in an attitude of breastfeeding.
The deadline is now open and proposals can be submitted until March 31. The awards will be delivered on June 19. All the awarded and finalist photographs, as well as a selection of photos considered by the organization, will be part of an exhibition that will begin at the Dénia House of Culture from June 17 to July 10, 2021, and which will continue to travel by the populations of our region or those entities or groups that request it.
