The Rem Club Marina de Denia He returned to double in the sixth round of the Liga Suma League of the Mediterranean, organized by the Rowing Federation of the Valencian Community and the Benidorm Yacht Club.
The good weather accompanied the participants, who were able to enjoy a pleasant day of rowing in the capital of Marina Baixa.
The appointment brought together 62 vessels belonging to 17 different clubs being the Absolute and Veteran male tests the most numerous, with 12 and 13 teams respectively.
The day began with the leading role for the Club Rem Marina Dénia, who in the Veterans tests returned to double, both in females and men. In both categories they are leaders of the League. In women, the dianenses surpassed the premises of the Club Náutico Benidorm, being third those of the Real Club Náutico Calpe.
In men the dianenses beat Real Club Regatas Alicante and the third place went to the Real Club Náutico Torrevieja. Veterans of the Real Club Nautico Denia they occupied seventh place and those of the Real Club Náutico Calpe were tenth third.
In juveniles the girls of the Santa Pola Yacht Club won, while in the second place the girls of the Real Club Nautico Calpe entered. In boys, victory for those of the Real Club Regatas Alicante, being second the boat of the Real Club Náutico Dénia.
The last manga that was held was the absolute female, which gathered a large audience located on the promenade and the adjoining beach, in addition to the viewpoint where you could see perfectly the tack. In the women's race, the Campello Nautical Club team won and in the men's race the Real Club Regatas Alicante won.
The next regatta of the SUMA League Banco Fijo del Mediterráneo is scheduled for the 7 Sunday in April in Altea.
