The Kayak Fishing Team of the Marina Club El Portet moved last weekend to Murcia to participate in the third edition of the Solidarity Tide of Portman that organized the Kayak Fishing Levante.
Beyond the sporting factor, a solidarity and coexistence day was held between kayak fishing enthusiasts who came from all over the national geography to contribute their grain of sand in an aid action.
The Marina El Portet team participated in the day providing non-perishable food - one of the objectives of the event - which was distributed by cooperating associations among the neediest families.
The team now has its sights set on an open that will be held by the Kayak People Club next weekend of the 9 and November 10 in Valencia.
