The City Council of El Verger and the CA UNED Dénia renewed the signature on November 20 of the Agreements for Educational Cooperation. At the signing were present Raquel Martí, Director of the CA UNED Dénia, and Ximo Coll, mayor of the City Council of El Verger.
Thanks to the agreements the student body will be able to carry out:
- External academic practices (curricular) so that UNED students who are studying official Bachelor's degrees or leading to obtaining a University Master's degree, can complete the training with the completion of professional practices and the development of the Final Project. Degree and Master's Final Project.
- Extracurricular or voluntary internships to complement their training. The internships will have a duration of 750 hours for undergraduate studies, in the case of a PhD, a maximum of 1500 hours per academic year. At the end of the internship the entity and the UNED will give the student a certificate.
Ximo Coll has expressed his satisfaction with the Dénia center, “Since it will allow the citizens of El Veger who are studying a Bachelor's or Master's degree to carry out internships in the Verger Town Hall, in all its areas and departments, knowing and learning the work carried out by the local administration in Verger. Our municipality is committed to the training and support of its citizens and in this way we see our commitment to the UNED Dénia reflected ".
Raquel Martí highlighted after the signing: "We renew the collaboration agreement with our consortia for the mutual benefit of students and city councils in training and professional experience. It is a reciprocal opportunity to acquire work experience in local administration and a return on the investment made through the commitment of our employers, in this case with the City Council of El Verger ".
During the meeting, future collaborations on the 2030 Agenda were discussed and scheduled.
The renewal of the signing of these two agreements is part of the different initiatives and activities that the CA UNED Dénia carries out to facilitate the professional success of its students as much as possible, a priority that it always keeps in mind.
