The ship Ardora III Antonio Gadea, belonging to the Real Club Náutico de Dénia, won the second round of the Cabo San Antonio Trophy that was held last Saturday. Ardora III made the journey in a time of 1: 12: 28.
The second place was for the Yacht Club Jávea and his boat Marara, by Vicente Reig with a time of 1: 14: 58. Compass, of the Nautical Club Jávea, got the third place. The boat of Jose Luis Vicente Almazán made a time of 1: 16: 20. The regatta had a total of 13 participants, several more than in the first test.
The general classification is composed of Marara, of the CNJ, in the first place, Compass, also from the Javiense club, in the second and Alitan 3, of the RCN Dénia in the third.
The competition started with bad weather conditions, which prevented it from starting at the scheduled time. The conditions improved rapidly and the test started 15 minutes later. This sailing day was very good for the participants due to the strong east wind that was during the first section and the north wind in the final section.
The third round of this trophy will be held in Dénia on the next 11 in May and will end with the fourth round of the 8 in June at the Jávea Yacht Club.
Jaime Portolés, President of Real Club Nautico Denia, thanked all the boats for their participation and encouraged everyone to attend the next test, which will take place at the Dianense club facilities and end with a meal for all participants.
