The City Council of Dénia hires 18 unemployed people within the ECOVID and EMPUJU programs

The City Council of Dénia will hire 18 unemployed people for a year thanks to the granting of two subsidies from the Labora employment promotion line, within the framework of the operational program of the European Social Fund. The total amount allocated to the hiring of these people amounts to 500.000 euros: 300.00 subsidized by Labora and 200.000 contributed by the council to match the average salary of new hires to that of the corresponding category in the municipal staff.

On the one hand, within the ECOVID program, 9 people, aged 30 or over, will be hired as janitors. Secondly, within the framework of the EMPUJU program, the city council will employ another 9 people, under 30 years of age, for the following positions: 1 computer scientist, 4 administrative assistants, 1 bricklayer, 1 plumber, 1 laundry assistant, and 1 laundry assistant. home help. The contracts will be for 12 months full time.

The councilor of Creama Dénia, Sandra Gertrúdix, has attended today in the dependencies of the local agency to the signing of the contracts and the assignment of jobs. Tomorrow Wednesday they will start work.
