Education opens the door to collaboration with nursery schools in the school project two years

Three weeks after it has begun in Dénia pilot project launched by the Generalitat Valenciana schooling of children two years in two classrooms of the town, the director of Education Policy, Jaume Fullana, he has left the door open to a future collaboration with school children in the project.

According to Fullana, there have been many platforms that have met with the Minister of Education to express their concerns. "It's not about going 'against', but about offering a possibility that so far didn't exist."

The Director of Educational Policy has recognized that "Very good practices are being done in nursery schools and educational centers, and what we want is for these good practices to be visualized at once and extended."

Although he acknowledges that it is unknown today how the extension of this project, which is expected to be extended until the current students of the two-year class will turn five, Fullana stressed that in the face of the future "We will have to count on the infrastructures of each municipality. We have to know what the resource map of each municipality is in order to make the extension properly". The director stated that "You can have nursery classrooms and municipal schools."

These declarations have been made during the visit to the two classrooms of schooling to the two years that have been created in the Vessanes and Cervantes schools to conconer first-hand the operation of the same during the first days.

For the Ministry of Education is a "scientific piloting" Which will provide data on the socioeconomic index of the families of the students in school and on the incidence of schooling of children of 2 years with the objective "to end educational models and countermodels implemented based on electoral results". This experimentation will not end this course, but its incidence can be evaluated when the participating students complete the education cycle.
