Active education the web space telematricula.es of telematic school admission

May 10 from 2021 - 13: 33

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports has published in the DOGV the instructions for the completion of the admission process for the 2021-2022 academic year through telematricula.es. This procedure is important, especially for families with sons and daughters born in 2019 and 2018 who enroll them for the next school year in free two-year Infant classrooms and three-year Infant classrooms, respectively.

The Ministry has already activated the telematricula.es portal, and the corresponding admission code to start the procedures can be obtained from the day the procedure begins in each educational stage. That is why the first to be able to obtain the admission key will be the people who want to access the course that comes to FP studies. In this case, the period to do the admission process begins on May 21 and can be done until June 1.

Families that start the process for the Infant and Primary stages will be able to process the admission key to do the procedure from May 25 and have until June 2 to submit their applications electronically.

In the case of ESO, this procedure is carried out only if the families decide to change the educational center of their sons and daughters. All students who go from Primary to ESO are assigned to a secondary school and, therefore, if families do not want to change it, they do not have to apply, since their sons and daughters already have a reserved place.

In the case of intermediate and higher level FP, as well as Baccalaureate, as they are non-compulsory studies, all students who want to apply for a first-year place must do the admission process through telematricula.es even if they do not change their center educational.

How to do the telematic procedure

The first step to carry out the telematic procedure is to access telematricula.es and generate the password to carry out the telematic procedure. In the 'Admission Code' window, the applicant's father, mother or legal guardian will be requested, the IDESP support number (code of 9 letters and numbers that are in the DNI) and the date of birth of the person applicant, as well as an email address.

Foreign citizens who do not have a DNI must fill in the same information but with the NIE. Apart from putting the NIE, you will have to fill in a box with the IXESP support number (code included in the foreigners' cards and residence permits), as well as the date of birth of the applicant.

Once this first procedure is done, the applicant will receive the identifier and password by email. It is important that the access code, identifier and password be kept in order to later make claims when the provisional lists have been made public, as well as to consult the results of the allocation of places.

With the access code, you will be able to access the electronic form in the 'Admission process' window in which, step by step, you will have to fill in the application data for educational centers arranged in a preferential manner. Remember that you can choose up to ten options per son or daughter.

At all stages, while the application submission period is open, families may modify their requests for school places as many times as they want, since only the last application submitted will be taken into account.

People who do not have a DNI / NIE or those who do not have access to electronic means will be able to do the admission procedure in person at the educational centers where they want to apply as a first option on the same dates on which the telematic procedure is determined.

All centers supported by public funds will be user service centers. At these points, through the same application to make the electronic admission, the procedure will be processed under the same conditions as the rest of the applicants.

News to keep in mind

In the case of Infant and Primary, unlike last year, with a single admission code, families will be able to request as many places as their sons and daughters want to enroll. For the rest of the educational stages (ESO, Baccalaureate and FP), you must generate an admission key for each application you want to make.

Another notable novelty in the school admission for the 2021-2022 academic year is that students born from multiple births, if the family so wishes, will be guaranteed a place in the same educational center. Families must make a request for each twin son / daughter, mark the specific box that indicates the will that the requests be grouped and thus they will be automatically calculated as a single request.

Dates to mark on the calendar

The first important date will be the publication of vacancies. Today, Monday, May 10, the entire offer of Basic FP, intermediate and higher degree cycles for the next year will be incorporated into telematricula.es. On Monday, May 24, it will be the turn of the Infant and Primary offer, and on June 2, that of ESO and Baccalaureate.

The second step that will be activated is that of submitting the application for a place: between May 21 and June 1 in FP, from May 25 to June 2 in Infant and Primary, and from June 3 to 14 in ESO and Baccalaureate.

There will be a window called 'Provisional lists' with the admitted people, which can be entered to check the results of the admission, which will be activated on June 16 in Infant and Primary, on July 7 in Basic FP, on June 13 July in middle and higher grade FP and July 14 in ESO and Baccalaureate.

If you are not satisfied, from the same day the provisional awards are published, families can submit allegations by clicking on the button for this purpose in telematricula.es, where the corresponding electronic form will be displayed. The exact deadlines for making claims will be specified on the web.

Once the claims have been studied, the final lists will be published: on June 30 for Infant and Primary, on July 15 for Basic FP, on July 22 for intermediate and higher level FP and on July 23 for ESO and Baccalaureate.

When families know the educational center where they can enroll their daughter or son, they must proceed with the effective enrollment. As this last step is face-to-face, it is necessary for them to contact the specific educational center or consult its specific website, where they will be informed of the shifts configured according to each course and stage within the established deadlines.

In the case of Infant and Primary, this last phase will take place between July 1 and 16 in person at the specific educational center. There, the documents or situations alleged in the online admission process will be verified.

In the event that the parent's non-coexistence box has been marked, the signature must be provided and the information of the father, mother, legal guardian who has not made the application for a place, must be provided.

In Basic FP, the registration period is from July 16 to 22. The next day, the 23rd, it opens for intermediate and higher grade FP and closes on July 30. In ESO and Baccalaureate it runs from July 26 to 29.

Tiebreaker Letters Giveaway

The letters that will establish the order of allocation of places in the event of a tie in the scale, according to the draw made before a notary, are EV for the first surname and ÑY for the second surname when there is a match with the first. In the absence of a second surname, it will be considered that it begins with AA. It should be remembered that already in the admission for the current 2020-2021 academic year, the formula was modified to make it even fairer, so that a double letter system was chosen instead of a single one.

The tiebreaker letters are used in those educational centers where there are ties to points in the scale among the applicants. Students are prioritized according to the highest score obtained successively in the 9 established criteria. However, when there are tied candidates is when the letter system is used to break the tie, in case there are more applications than places in this educational center.
