El Real Club Nautico Denia participated in the XXVII Memorial 10 of May last weekend in Santa Pola. In this Regional Championship of Optimist A, a total of seven sailors of the Dianense club competed obtaining good results. Eduardo Reyes has achieved second place in the men's 13 sub category.
The Dianense Carlota Gómez has finished fourth in the women's 13 sub category, achieving, along with Eduardo Reyes, the classification for the Spanish Cup that will take place in Puerto Sherry from 15 to 18 in May.
The RCND fired its sailor Marina Arroyo, who will not be able to participate in further tests with these boats since they only have categories up to 16 years.
In this competition 90 Optimist participated in two days characterized by good wind and favorable weather conditions, which allowed the realization of six tests during the weekend.
Jaime Portolés, President of the Real Club Náutico Dénia, has congratulated the club's participants for their involvement in all the regattas and encourages them to continue their effort in the next calls.
