The days 7, 8, 9 and 10 of March, the sailors of the Real Club Náutico de Dénia traveled to Valencia to participate in the regatta OptiOrange. Eduardo Reyes won the second male position in the silver group. The regatta, with 320 participants, had to be divided into four categories, gold, silver, bronze and emerald.
The Dianense club also got good positions in the bronze category. A total of 16 sailors of the Dianense club played this international Optimist regatta organized by the Real Club Náutico de Valencia and Saint Petersburg Yacht Club.
Nicolás Gómez, Marina Arroyo, Arnau Muñoz, Carlota Gómez, Laia Martínez, Julia Martínez, Sara Belinchón, María Sala, Elena Colom, Candela Ramírez, Emma Albretch, Carla Ivars, Maia Lardeur, Vicente Fernández and Julián Pérez obtained very good results in these three days of nautical competition. The participants made three sleeves each of the days of the event, with medium and strong winds from the southeast.
Jaime Portolés, President of Real Club Nautico Denia, has congratulated the small sailors of the club and invites them to continue with the effort and passion dedicated to water sports.
