Two teams from the quarry of the Dénia Basketball champions of the Valencian League

08 October 2019 - 10: 29

The female cadet team 04 and the male fry 08 were proclaimed champions of the Valencian League in their respective categories.

The fry beat CB Joventut Xàbia by 70 to 30. Good game of all dianenses players sharing the ball and always looking for the best option to score without allowing the opponent easy baskets at any time.

The part of the third period ended up finally breaking the game after a start that had already revealed the superiority of our boys. Excellent way to end the preseason for a generation that promises to give us many joys, well directed this time by Bernat Sanz and Nacho Ots. The player of Dénia BásquetGuillermo Moreno Carrasco took the trophy for the best player of this final.

Meanwhile, the cadets beat CB La Vila in the final by 53 to 12. A full outing of concentration and effectiveness, always choosing the best shot to take, moved us away on the scoreboard in a determined way in the match (20-2).

The game was closed in the fourth period when all the team's players had already scored. Ferran García's team has been picking up the tone in this preseason and will arrive at the start of the competition at a level very close to its best version of last year. All her companions celebrated with great joy the appointment of Carmen Christmas Martín as MVP of the final.

Who could not round the day were the fry 08 who lost in the final to EMB Pedreguer by 60 to 42. A week after having faced EMB Pedreguer 08 in the group stage of this competition, without having had any option to discuss the victory, the girls of Carlos Vila faced this final with the aim of demonstrating that they could do better.

A good and even first part, where they even got a small advantage, made the dianenses believe they had a chance of victory. However, in the fourth period the pedregueras brought out their best game with a great defense and decided to meet with a partial that was no longer possible to recover despite the fact that the Dénia girls tried. The best news was that Dianense Neissa Bell Ivars was designated the most valuable player of the final (MVP).
