During the commemoration of the patron saint of the Civil Guard, the Virgen del Pilar, representatives of the Benemérita, along with different civil and military authorities, participated last October 12 in an event held at noon in the Town Hall Square, culminated with a parade.
During the institutional act, the service of citizenship was highlighted and recognition was made for their work or their collaboration with the Civil Guard to different people within the scope of the police and civil bodies.
Among these recognitions, an Honorary Distinction was given to the Citizen Participation Delegate of the Denia National Police Station, Ms. Caterina De Francisco, for having excelled in the fulfillment of her personal and professional obligations.
The Delegation of Citizen Participation works to position the citizen as a guiding element of the police activity, dealing directly with the various problems that affect the different groups, facilitating the citizen's involvement in the resolution of the security problems that arise .
