The National Police of Denia stopped Monday the woman who lived in the house that was burned in the afternoon in Ares street, in La Pedrera, as supposed author of fire.
Apparently, the woman was going to be evicted and had to leave the house in the next few days. By the time the security personnel arrived in the area, the woman was not there. He appeared minutes later, and it was at that moment when the National Police stopped her. She is accused of setting fire to the house.
The fire started after the 17: 00 hours and to work on its extinction, three vehicles and six members of the Regional Park were mobilized. Approximately an hour and a half later, it was considered extinct. The result was a ground floor burned by fire and the first floor seriously damaged by smoke.
