The 10ª Edition of this already classic Return to Murcía, proof of the National Calendar does not disappoint anyone, with three very varied stages and organization of 10. A test in which the cycling team Vito-UCMontgó had an outstanding performance.
The first stage, as it was anticipated, was quick and of little more than one hour of duration, in which it gave time to materialize several attempts of escape being of them one of the most remarkable in which the runner managed to interfere Fortea But the strong pace of the peloton, especially in the last kilometers towards the finish, made it impossible to materialize it. The massive arrival at sprint of the peloton did not give rise to surprises and the stage was completed by all the riders without problems.
The second stage, Individual Time Trial, was affected by the rain factor, accompanied by the incessant wind and cold weather very variable, depending on the time of departure. A stage that ended with great results for the team's riders, among which Salva Fortea and Francesc Boscà stood out for 31 "and 41" of the winner respectively.
The third stage, stage reigns, did not disappoint and the hardness of the course itself, with + 1.200m of unevenness accumulated in 98 km, had to add the irregularities of the terrain, which led to various punctures, breakdowns and falls without serious consequences.
With the Ordn GD Team implanting a frantic pace, it was the passage through the second port that broke the peloton and led to a break in which Fernando Rino and Javier Almela got involved, reaching the finish line. sprint with the flight 2'41 "in front of the main peloton and with an 4º race post for Rino and 1º 40 Master.
After completing the three stages, it is concluded that this return format benefits a good result in the time trial, but the regularity of the three stages is rewarded. Proof of this are the results of the third stage, with the thirty components of the leak that also occupy the first thirty positions of the Final General Classification.
Special mention to the Sporting Director, Emilio Miravalles, who has been assisting the whole Team both inside and outside the races facilitating the runners to preparation and the course of the competition from start to finish.
