Outstanding performance of the sailors of the Real Club Náutico Dénia in the Autonomous Kayak League

The sailors belonging to the competition team of the Real Club Nautico Denia, they were at a great level in the "2ª Day of the XVI Autonomous League of Sea Kayak", held in Dénia. This time they increased their medal harvest with respect to the previous test, adding a total of seven. Five of them of gold and two of silver, demonstrating their great level.

For safety after possible changes in the wind forecast, the three routes went north, bordering the beaches from Las Marinas de Dénia and departing from the beach of the tip of the Raset.

The test, which began at 10 hours in the morning with the departure of the categories for children, cadets, Precanoe, OCV - Va'a men and traditional men ended their journey to the 14 hours after the arrival of the boats of the departure held to the 12: .20 hours, for the rest of the categories.

They became favorites

Juan Carlos Pérez Nadal in Traditional category, Paulino Llobell in Veteran AB, Maik Dimitrov in Juvenil, the k2 cadet of Marcos Ortega and Miguel Louwagie and the k2 of Jerónimo Costa and Miguel Abraca in Infantil were the winners of the 5 Dianense gold medal podiums.

Maria del Mar Puigserver in Senior Traditional and the k2 Senior of Bieke Martine and Elena Ballester did it in the same way, with no less effort finally collecting a deserved silver medal. David Montes, from Club Piragüisme Dénia did the same in the Veteran B category, leaving one more gold medal for the city.

Fourth place by teams

The sum of the points of the paddlers left as winners of the podium by clubs at Club Nautico Villajoyosa, Real Club Náutico Castellón and Club Nautico Campello respectively. The Real Club Nautico Dénia with 167 points occupied the fourth place after the sum of their medals. The Castellón Royal Yacht Club, the Villajoyosa Nautical Club and the Canet d`en Berenguer Nautical Club were the winning clubs on Saturday in the number of Young Promise points.

Vicent Crespo, Councilor for Sports of the Dénia City Council; Juan Carlos Pérez Nadal, canoeing member of the Real Club Náutico Dénia and Toñi Simó, member of the Board of Directors, delivered the medals to the winners in the final celebration of the day.
