The ETC Room of the Dénia Youth Building will host the performance of the play next Saturday, April 5, at 19:00 p.m. Heart of assassins, an adaptation of the monologues Choir of murderers by Stella Manaut. The production will be led by the Sempre en falta u theater group, directed by Amparo Martínez, and will feature the collaboration of the Bonrepòs i Mirambell choir, conducted by Vicent Ros.
The work presents four powerful stories of women marked by destructive relationships, violence, and emotional dependence, offering a stark portrait of machismo and its consequences. Through these stories, Heart of assassins It becomes a cry of denunciation about a reality still present in society.
The councilman of Youth, Valen Alcala, explained that "this work is part of our commitment to feminist programming, which not only champions but also invites reflection through culture. We hope it reaches all audiences, because its goal is to make gender-based violence visible through theater and generate debate about this scourge that continues to affect our society."
The performance is part of the cultural program promoted by the Dénia City Council and aims to raise awareness about the issue of gender-based violence through the performing arts.
