Dénia once again becomes the filming set for a new film

During this week a film crew has traveled to the coast of Dénia to record several scenes of a new film production of black humor that will hit Spanish cinemas during 2023. The film, entitled the devil loads it, will be the film debut for its director, the Valencian Guillermo Polo.

On Wednesday the team has been working around the Marineta Cassiana, filming various road sequences. In fact, these tasks have caused long delays throughout the southern coast of the city. After passing through Dénia, the works will continue in many other Spanish locations, such as Soria, Teruel and Tenerife.

the devil loads it will be a play of black humor starring Pablo Molinero (Plague), Mero Gonzalez (I leave it whenever I want, Valeria), Isak Ferriz (Giants), Antonia San Juan (All about my mother, The hole) and Itziar Castro (Vis a vis).

Synopsis

Tristán is a frustrated writer who lives by writing the inspiring phrases on the sugar packets. His routine life will change the day he agrees, under mysterious circumstances, to transport the frozen body of his conflictive brother, Simón, from Asturias to Benidorm to fulfill his last wish: to be buried in the house where they both grew up. She will soon discover that the obstacles and different characters she will have to face on this strange road trip (a Gen Z hitchhiker with a festival hangover, a hairdresser who acts as a hit woman, etc.), are perhaps her last chance to to live a true experience, and, above all, to leave behind their pathetic conformism.
