The start of school this year, a week earlier than last year, is reflecting chaotic situations in some schools in Denia who do not have air conditioning and in really high temperatures that sometimes prevent it reaching the standard performance of the lessons.
This has been one of the problems that education Councilwoman Dénia, Pepa SiveraHe has moved to the new regional secretary for Education, Manuel Tomas Ludeña, who held a meeting on Wednesday.
According Sivera, the secretary has taken him to "The situation in each of the centers will have to be assessed, since there are no expectations of installing air conditioners in a general way". In this sense, he explained that in future Sivera outstanding performances to develop in primary the municipality the possibility of making such facilities, subject to speak at the meetings pending with the directives and AMPAS institutes will be studied.
In another vein, Sivera transferred to the secretary the need for school transportation for students residing in Les Rotes, and in this regard the secretary showed "a good disposition". And is that, according to the councilor, «twelve students are enough to propose this transport».
To end the meeting, Pepa Sivera updated the new regional secretary for Education on school project Raquel Payà which according to the Regional Secretary has entered into 2015- priorities and IES Maria Ibars.
