This year, the awards celebrate their 15th edition and it is the third consecutive year that our city has received the third prize in the category “Best SICTED destination”.
AMT Smart Destinations Awards: awards for technological solutions and tools for tourist destinations
On the other hand, this afternoon the AMT Smart Destinations Awards ceremony will be held, which are awarded by the Alliance of Sun and Beach Tourist Municipalities (AMT) and the Hotel Technology Institute to technological solutions and tools focused on tourist destinations that are committed to applied innovation and the improvement of the territories as a whole, as well as to innovative projects in tourist destinations whose objective is to improve the digitalization, sustainability and integral management of the destination.
In this eighth edition, Dénia is one of the three finalist municipalities in the category of “Innovative project of the destination”, together with Benissa and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, for the development of a technological tool for the identification of potentially unregulated tourist housing.
During the event, the finalists in each category will have five minutes to present their project to the jury and the public. After the presentations, the winners of each category will be announced and will receive a certificate.
Likewise, all the solutions and tools selected as finalists in each category will be included in the online catalogue of technological solutions and innovative projects that will be disseminated through the AMT, the website of the Hotel Technology Institute and the online catalogue of the Interplatform Group of Smart Cities (GICI).
Everything is very nice. But this does not get anyone out of the misery that plagues Denia.
Denia deserves an active government, prepared for the current times, willing to work and improve the town and the lives of its residents. But also with good intentions, and to carry them out.
Dénia needs a highly qualified government. Professionals from each sector, in their corresponding council.
This is not a game, nor a hobby.
Leave with dignity and resign for collective incompetence. You and all your political counterparts in the current council.
