Dénia obtains third place as “Best SICTED Destination” for the third consecutive year

19 December 2024 - 16: 24

For the third consecutive year, Dénia has been recognised with third place in the category of “Best SICTED Destination”, a prestigious award given by the Secretary of State for Tourism together with the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP). This recognition highlights the municipality’s efforts to continuously improve the quality of its tourism services and its commitment to promoting the Comprehensive System of Tourism Quality in Destinations (SICTED) throughout its territory.

In this edition, Santa Cruz de Tenerife took first place in the category, followed by Carmona (Andalusia) in second place, and Dénia, representing the Valencian Community, completed the podium.

The SICTED system, promoted at a national level, seeks to guarantee high quality standards in tourist destinations, and the recognition obtained by Dénia reinforces its position as a benchmark in the sector.

!!What a load of rubbish!! But if we're going to give out prizes: We citizens will award the City Council: "Prize for the worst conservation and cleanliness of a municipality". I can think of many more "prizes" but... Yes: PRIZE FOR THE ABANDONMENT OF CITIZENS"

Are we sure that you have walked through the streets of Dénia seeing its "excellent" beach care, the paving of the promenade in Playa Les Marines, unfinished sidewalks (example: Ausiàs March), cleaning of sidewalks, works by Marqués de Campo that have been unfinished for more than a year?
Or on the contrary, they have gone to the restaurant to eat some shrimp and they leave.

Things that are useless. Or the opposite. Things that encourage the collapse of Denia:

Air and smoke, there is nothing behind this supposed prize. They cook it and eat it.
