The most important gastronomic guide in Spain, the Repsol Guide, has announced the delivery of the prestigious Repsol Suns to the most outstanding restaurants in the country in its 2023 edition. The award ceremony took place in Alicante and was attended by presence of the best chefs and representatives of the food industry.
The city of Dénia once again stands out for its culinary excellence by revalidating the majority of the Suns it received in the previous edition of the guide, consolidating itself as one of the most outstanding gastronomic destinations in Spain. In total, three restaurants in the city managed to be awarded the precious Repsol Suns.
Among the winners is the renowned chef Quique Dacosta, who repeats with three Repsol Suns for his restaurant that bears his name. The Peix i Brases Restaurant has also managed to stand out with two Repsol Suns, while El Baret de Miquel has received a Repsol Sun.
Every year, the Repsol Guide is a reference in the selection of the best restaurants and gastronomic destinations in Spain. The 2023 edition has the inclusion of a new restaurant in the Marina Alta, which demonstrates the vitality and diversity of the gastronomy of the area.
