Dénia launches a survey to promote co-responsibility in families with minor children

13 June 2022 - 13: 36

A survey to find out the needs of families with children under 14 years of age will be the roadmap for the Dénia City Council in its desire to design an action plan that favors co-responsibility and re-employment after the pandemic.

Dénia City Council has launched this survey as part of the diagnostic work it is doing on the situation of families with minor children. The diagnosis and action plan is the first step towards achieving the Joint Responsibility Plan of the Ministry of Equality, whose subsidies have been accepted by the council.

This first task will serve to discover which are the best professional and quality care services for children and adolescents that the municipality can provide. A great opportunity to make use of buildings and public spaces and to do so together with other actions and programs that seek to improve co-responsibility in the municipality.

Taking into account that co-responsibility affects all aspects of life, the survey seeks to know and be able to meet the true needs of families, taking into account, above all, the well-being of children. All this with the aim of promoting equal employment and training opportunities and the equitable distribution of domestic tasks and care, so that all members of the family can enjoy their rights and contribute to not overloading the elderly.
