The Dénia City Council has received a grant from the Alicante Provincial Council to carry out activities for equal opportunities and prevention of gender violence. The amount of this aid amounts to 2.270,90 euros that the Dianense consistory will allocate in the development of the program tutty.
Tutty is a didactic board game that promotes respect for affective, sexual and family diversity. Specifically, the Tutty card game, created by Carmen Ivars and Juan Lillo, consists of a "Diverse Families" game developed together with a co-education project for families and schools. It is based on an atypical game about the typical family, in which all families fit and in which diversity is finally typical.
“There are families with two mothers and others with two fathers. There are families that live in community and others that adopt or
they welcome adults or children to share love, time and care. There are no model families, no model families. Tutty promotes respect for affective, sexual and family diversity through play ", explain its creators.
With Tutty we work to overcome gender prejudices and stereotypes by offering alternative models of coexistence.
