What is the profile of users of the Dénia Legal Assistance Service for Women?

The Legal Assistance Service for Women in Dénia served 395 users in 2021. The user profile data by age highlights that the majority were over 65 years of age. Next was the age range from 56 to 60 years, living with the family in 223 of the cases and with an average of 1 or 2 children.

The Women's Legal Assistance Service is an individual assistance, information and guidance service regarding legal issues that the Dénia City Council offers free of charge, from the Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies, to all women in the municipality. The service has been provided continuously since December 2000.

The SAJ is located in the Social Services building at Plaça del Arxiduc Carles, number 3. Visiting hours are from 09:00 to 13:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays. A prior appointment is required online through the electronic headquarters of the town hall or by phone at the number 96 642 46 80.
