August 26 from 2021 - 15: 35

Less than 24 hours after the last major rescue of Red Cross rescuers, in which they saved a family with a 2-year-old baby after abandoning their boat, again in the Cova Tallada the surveillance service had to intervene to help some people who needed their help.

According to Red Cross sources, they have rescued two people in Cova Tallada who had impact injuries against the rocks. Apparently, they were visiting the cave with a kayak when the waves caused by the passage of the Baleràia surprised them, both capsizing them without being able to climb back up.

The couple has been evacuated by the Red Cross boat and assisted by the ambulance in Ca Nano.

Training continues shortly after the end of the high beach season

Also today at about 13:00 p.m. the team of lifeguards from Bovetes y Punta del Raset They have faced two drills to stay in shape in case they have to face real rescues like the one today of their teammates Les Rotes.
