30 July 2021 - 19: 38

Around 17:30 p.m., the Dénia Red Cross has received the notice for the rescue of a woman in the Cova Tallada. The woman, in her 40s, was semi-unconscious on the ground due to heat stroke.

A boat and an ambulance have been mobilized from the Red Cross to rescue the victim. Local police officers were also present when the rescuers arrived. Due to the orography of the place, the rescue has been complicated but finally, the woman has been transferred in the boat to the area of Les Rotes where an ambulance waited for its transfer to Hospital de Dénia.

You have to do it at less hot hours We want to see the wonders of nature.

  2. Pau (FR) says:

The Cova Tallada should be closed to tourism and other coves or potentially dangerous sites only because of the danger of access and little awareness of visitors.

Most of the tourists do not have much idea about the terrain orography and the climatic conditions that we have here.

It's one accident after another, falls and heatstroke.
If the visitors are not conscious, nor are they physically prepared, they should not go.

On the other hand, let's hope the lady recovers well.
