The new data provided by the Ministry of Health on the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic by municipalities, show a slight decrease in infections compared to the previous day. The Department of Health of Dénia, on which the entire region of the Marina Alta, has registered 348 new cases of coronavirus, compared to the 380 recorded on Tuesday, bringing the total number of people infected with COVID-12.597 to 19 since the start of the pandemic. Of this total, 1.381 cases are currently active in the region.
Regarding the incidence accumulated in the last 14 days, the data indicate a stabilization of the situation, since the new update places the incidence of the region the same as three days ago, at 809,38 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
In the case of Dénia, the new registered cases have also decreased, adding 97 new positives compared to the 102 cases registered last Tuesday. At the moment, the town has 383 active cases of the 3.722 registered since March 2020. Regarding the accumulated incidence, this is located in the capital of the region in 894,30 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
