This morning the program of the XV Ciutat de Dénia Guitar Conference has been presented at the Dénia town hall. The Councilor for Culture, Raúl García de la Reina, and the event organizers Pep Ortolà and Celso Crespo.
The project is carried out one more year by the Nova Companyia de Guitarres, which will also perform on the second day, and it will be possible to enjoy a great variety of styles, from folk to classical, through flamenco. All, of course, with the sound of the guitar as the protagonist.
In this edition will participate, in addition to the already named Nova Companyia de Guitarres, Minha Lua groups, presenting Palabra de mujer, Javier Zamora with his Flamenk Band, presenting Flamenco Heart, and A Piacere Quartet that will accompany the guitar of Concha Ballester. In addition, the latter will receive on Thursday 12 the Prize for the Disclosure and Interpretation of the Guitar for his extensive career, highlighting his time dedicated to teaching the instrument at the Tenor Cortis Conservatory, whose journey started in the decade of the 80.
