Compromís Jesús Pobre presented his electoral program last Friday, made from the contributions of neighbors and associations.
Stresses the proposal to try to make Jesus Pobre a municipality or at least have more self-government, to this are added citizen participation, social welfare (more hours of doctor, a pediatrician and seek agreements with other villages for day centers), make women more visible in the acts of the city council and also obtain the competences of the garbage to be able to elaborate a system of selective collection and adapted to the town.
The presentation had the support of the candidate for mayor of Dénia, Rafa Carrió, which affected that from Commitis per Dénia will help Jesus Pobre to have more skills. He also affirmed that Jesús Pobre should be on the planning committee to be able to decide on his territory as well as La Xara. Finally, the candidate for Jesus Pobre, Josep Fornés, closed the event with an emphasis on citizen participation and on the Commitment for Jesus Poor team.
