Compromís announces a new meeting, this time with Senator Carles Mulet

January 25 from 2023 - 13: 54

Compromís per Dénia celebrates a new edition of 'Café obert', a meeting open to the public with a political representative of Compromís in the different public institutions. The date will be next Wednesday, February 1, at 17:30 p.m., in the cafeteria of the House of Culture Denia.

The collective will include Carles Mulet, a member of the Spanish Senate since 2015, who will present his book Carles Mulet, a season at the Senat, where he reviews his career defending the interests of Valencian men and women in the upper house. As he himself explains, "the book is not the typical tostón, but it is an interactive book full of anecdotes, humor, reflection and things that he had never told".

Rafa Carrió, candidate for mayor, has reiterated that "the objective of these meetings is to build a space at street level where all civil society can dialogue face to face with their public representatives, find out about the policies carried out, as well as have the opportunity to demand future actions. For this reason, Compromís invites the citizens and associations of the municipality to come forward to listen, as well as to share their concerns.

This is the third of the editions of Café obert that the group has carried out and that have already included Joan Baldoví, deputy in Congress and candidate for the presidency of the Generalitat, and Aitana Mas, vice president and counselor for Equality and Inclusive Policies. The next call will revolve around the creation of work, with the presence of the regional Secretary of Employment and DG of Labor, Enric Nomdedéu.
