Compromís announces the pact that will distribute 20 million among the Marina Alta

January 20 from 2020 - 15: 37

The provincial deputy of Compromís, Gerard Fullana, together with municipal managers of the municipal group in Dénia, Rafa Carrió y Vicent Crespo, have held a press conference today to break down the main aid that derives from the decalogue agreed between the coalition and the government team to the Diputación de Alicante. The spokesperson for Compromís to the Provincial Council stressed that the pact "Break the script" since it is a sample that agreements between opposing ideological poles can be reached if specific aspects of shared benefit by the peoples are put in the spotlight.

In this sense, the spokesman of the municipal group of Dénia, Rafa Carrió, has pointed out that this is an example of “The useful policy of Compromís” as "That is why we are in politics: to agree, dialogue and reach fair agreements for the good of citizens"as well as this is "One more proof of zero tolerance with the clientelistic excesses of the Provincials". He also wanted to highlight and thank the work of the deputy “Always close to tangible policies, together with the councilors and councilors and the municipality”, giving as an example the recently approved Charter of Alicante.

As explained by Fullana, the pact includes a first point by which the deputation is committed to focus its subsidy lines on objective criteria and competitive competition, a fact -he has assured- that it was “Unthinkable 4 years ago”. As a result of these parameters, a fund has been agreed to compensate for the non-presence of the Provincial Council in the municipal cooperation funds, and that in the Marina Alta It implies increasing investment up to 3.104.000 euros and that it is also differentiated to further promote municipalities with less than 20.000 inhabitants. “We preferred that the Diputación finally enter the cooperation funds of the Generalitat, but we have also learned that not leaving the table can compensate and in some cases improve the situation. In this way, the municipalities will be able to use this fund as of May in general in works of different types, waiting for the central government to determine if it lifts the vetoes on these types of investments imposed by the government of Mariano Rajoy. Compromís has again requested in the government of Pedro Sánchez to comply with what was required two years ago and allow the peoples to expand the investments of the remaining treasury. ”

In addition, the proposal includes promoting environmental items with respect to the previous year, adding 6 million euros to this purpose, to which the 33 municipalities of the region opt for competitive participation. These new lines of investments required by Compromís are:

- Investments in green areas: the budget is doubled up to 2.000.000 euros (forecast 32 municipalities with a maximum investment of 62.500 euros per municipality per competitive concurrence).

- Energy Savings Plan. 1.800.000 euros (33 municipalities, maximum 60.000 euros per municipality, per concurrence)

- Plan of improvements in forest masses 500.000 euros.

- Plan of investments in tree planting 1.000.000 euros. (15-20 municipalities, maximum 60.000 euros per municipality).

- Firefighting plan: drafting of plans and executions of plans: 450.000 euros expandable in successive budget years.

In addition, the agreement includes an unpublished item in the Provincial Council: maintenance of educational centers for municipalities with smaller populations. The game is created with 150.000 euros and will remain open conditioned on the requests received.

Fullana, stressed that the pact demonstrates the letter of introduction of Compromís: "Forcefulness to control to change things and at the same time willingness to dialogue beyond ideological frameworks". So he has remarked that “The pacts that bipartisanship carried out in the Diputación to distribute subsidies by finger are overcome by complaints to the court of Compromís, now it is interesting that we agree criteria, policies and not names”. At the same time, it has demanded that Citizens and Party which “Choose which side you fly to, in the one of hate where you traditionally live or in that of rationality and dialogue, where we are willing to talk”. The deputy and councilor explained that “It is urgent to break walls in politics, to oppose not only criticize, it is also that antagonistic parties generate consensus for the benefit of people. If we look at the history of our group to the Diputación we will find a lot of energy to control and also effort to seek pacts.

An agreement with the crosshairs in the Marina Alta: train, waters and interior of the Marina

The agreement has a section of special regional interest. The representative of the Marina Alta to the Diputación de Alicante highlighted the importance that “The government of the Provincial Council has signed a point where it commits to make the arrival of the train to the region a priority, and where it undertakes to allocate linked investments annually”. The first of these investments will come when the Ministry of Development resolves the allegations corresponding to the exact location of the station, and consists of drafting the shuttle project to optimize the communications of each town with that station.

The agreement includes the request to reactivate the consortium of the Marina Alta that the previous PP corporation abandoned, and at the same time includes the budget to write a large project of interconnection of the towns belonging to the valleys of the interior of the region called Tour Valls of the Marine.

The Nine Plan Plan

Compromís presented in the previous legislature the Objective Pla, a plan to combine grants from the Provincial Council "Under objective criteria that guarantees a fair and autonomous financing in the villages. From here, Compromís has begun a dialogue with the infrastructure department and the corresponding deputy to try to bring the reality of the construction plans to this perspective." The result at the moment is to lay the foundations of a project that allows the agglutination of an objective stock market of large investments that each municipality knows at the beginning of the legislature and which it has without discretionary and autonomous elections. Although Compromís believes that this plan could reach 200 million euros every four years, at the moment the Plan Plan is closing in a global figure of about 100 million euros, of which the Marina Alta would correspond approximately About 20 million euros. The approval of a new distribution optics that avoids the discretion of knowing whether or not to grant large works plans is also part of the agreed decalogue.
