Today March 12 have begun to operate the cameras installed on Sandunga Street that will control traffic on this pedestrian street.
Only the vehicles that have processed in the local police office of Dénia the relevant permit and the services of loading and unloading in the schedule established in the ordinance (8 to 13 hours) will be allowed to circulate through Sandunga street.
The Local Police informs that from the 12 to the 24 of March the vehicles that circulate in this street without the pertinent authorization will be warned but not fined as a moratorium and informative measure of the prohibition to circulate without authorization. However, from March 25 the police will proceed to sanction those vehicles that circulate on this street without authorization with a fine of 200 euros with a bonus of 50% if the fine is paid in 20 business days.
Two neighborhood agents will inform the drivers circulating in the area about the traffic restriction news on Sandunga Street during the first weeks of the cameras coming into operation.
