The Alfafar Municipal Public Training Center for Adult People and its student association are the winners of the XXIII City of Dénia Award for Training of Adult People.
A jury made up of Rául García, Councilor for Culture of the Dénia City Council; Melani Ivars, Councilor for Education of the Dénia City Council; Vicent Mas, director of the Dénia Adult Training Center; Pilar Bienvenida Garcia Ginés, president of the Almussafes CFPA Student Association; and Juan Manuel Sanchis Marqués, representing TAREPA-*PV (Workshop for the Renewal of Adult Education in the Valencian Country) has unanimously decided to award the award at the FPA center and the Alfafar student association " to be some municipal and socio-cultural entities-organizations that have succeeded, over the years, in the defense, promotion and improvement of education and training throughout life, at the service of women and men to empower them and improve the quality of life".
The minutes of the jury also indicate that the winners "have contributed and contributed in a multifaceted and active way to the establishment of relationships and cooperations to build a model of socio-public adult education, in defense and empowerment of women, from an educational dimension and verse to all social aspects ".
The City of Denia award for the Training of Adult People was scheduled to be released this June, but given the state of alarm, it has been postponed in October.
