Several hundred people approached the Town Hall Square last night to celebrate the violet night. The event, organized by feminist associations simultaneously throughout the country, aimed to decree the state of emergency for the many sexist murders that have been lived in the so-called "black summer", in which only in July have they killed a woman every two days.
The town hall also lit up in violet in support of the demonstration, which ran through the heart of the city, shouting "machismo is terrorism", to end with the reading of the manifesto.
