Sonja Dietz, current president of the Cercle Empresarial of the Marina Alta (CEDMA), announced this Thursday night, during the general assembly, the call for presidential elections next June.
After eight years in office, Dietz wants to give way to new faces, who will have to decide the new lines of action of CEDMA for the coming years. Even so, the current president pointed out that the lines to follow should be focused on expanding the business representation of CEDMA in the region in order to achieve the cohesion and structuring of the economic agents; the demands regarding infrastructures such as the Tren de la Costa, the renewal of the 9 line of the Tram, the liberation of the AP7 or the urban problems; the follow-up of the projects of the Fundació Dénia Ciudad Creativa de la Gastronomía; business, professional and employability training; corporate social responsibility, etc.
In addition, in Dietz's opinion, the Civic Platform, of which CEDMA forms part since the last 14 in December, should lead projects of general interest for the entire region.
The meeting was completed with the approval of the 2018 accounts and the 2019 budget, as well as the memory of the management of the Board of Directors in this last year.
