Tracks Dénia Tennis Club They hosted the first day of the previous phase of the Ciudad de Dénia Tournament, framed within the Orysol Circuit. It was a full day with matches in morning and evening session. The heat was present during all the meetings.
One of the great protagonists of this first day was Carlos Vicente, player of the Dénia Tennis Club, who won in his match against the head of series number 11, Xavier Gabarro, by 7 / 6 and 6 / 1. After a very close first game, Vicente let go and showed his best game in the second set, where he hardly encountered resistance in an opponent who had to give up to the best blows of the Dianense club representative.
They managed to continue in the second round Benjamin Winter who won Luis Dolz. Alberto Barroso defeated Miquel Pérez. Carlos Sánchez did the same with Alejandro Vendri. Imanol López defeated Nikita Tatyanin, and Joan Borrás did the same with Anurag Nenwani.
The surprises came with the eliminations of No.4 Martin Van Der Meerschen at the hands of Álvaro Saez. Alesandro Coppini, seeded No. 7, lost with Diego Barreto and Adrián Expósito, No. 12 lost to Alejandro Moro.
