Good results of the teams of the Basketball school of Dénia in the resumption of the competitions

15 2021 April - 02: 41

This past weekend the competitions for the basketball school teams resumed.

Male juvenile level 3: DBC 10. 60 - 64 Pego

It was a very even game with alternation in the dominance of the scoreboard throughout the entire match. In the last two periods, the differences stabilized at between two and four points in favor of one or the other team. In the last two minutes, Pego showed less nerves and ended up taking the victory of a game that is sure of those that are worth to grow and improve the team. Highlight the great effort of the kids who play better every day and above all convey the desire to learn.

Male Alevín level 2: Joventut Xàbia 37 - 53 DBC 09

The Dianenses started the game very well, with a lot of intensity in defense and quick transitions. The passivity on the rebound meant that the local team could hold on to the game, preventing the scoring from distancing itself.

Despite this, the team worked with great enthusiasm and really enjoyed being able to return to the playing fields after such a prolonged break in competitions.

Male Alevín level 2: DBC 09. 33 - 43 Oliva

Good game for the boys of Hayzam Luna and Carlos Vila, against a rival who is fighting for second place in the group ahead of the second phase of the competition. Dianense good defense conditioned a lot to a rival who had closed the minutes in the first leg and who had to work hard to defeat Joan Fuster.

The lack of success in the shot against the tight defense of the Valencians prevented those from Dénia from really competing for victory, but despite them, the feelings were very positive.

Female Infant level 3: Tavernes 31 - 53 DBC 08

A first half with great intensity and dynamism in attack allowed us to go into halftime with a 15-point advantage.

In the second half, the rhythm of the game could not be kept up after so many months away from the courts, and Tavernes was allowed to play more easily, which balanced the partial result of the last four periods. It was, without a doubt, a good return to the league for a team in a clear upward line.

Female Infant level 3: Bellreguard 39 - 35 DBC 08

The girls of Bernat Sanz and Soufyane Sadoki closed their participation in the level phase by visiting one of the teams that lead the group and that aspires to finish the league classified in first position. It was a very motivating opportunity for the Dianense team to try to win at home and force a possible triple draw with the third team involved, El Verger.

The meeting was very even at all times. Although the lack of success in key moments, with some haste and some oversight in the defense prevented the girls from Dénia from taking the match.

Great effort from the girls, who played their second game in two days and did not stop fighting at any time. Being a team made up entirely of first-year players, it is clear that we are on the way to enjoy basketball a lot in the coming seasons.

Female Infant level 2: San Blas 41 - 25 DBC 07

The team returned to the competition against the leader of the classification, and despite the defeat, they competed throughout the match. Xavi Díaz's girls did not lower their arms at any time. They contained a good defensive job, but in attack the lack of shooting was noticed and the nerves were noticeable.

Melina's injury in the first period due to a fortuitous blow, made her unable to participate in the match again, having to subsequently receive medical assistance. Fortunately, you will only need a few days of rest to return to the slopes where your companions will wait for you with open arms.

The team will have the opportunity in the two games that remain in this first phase to fight with Cabo Mar for the second place in the group.

Male Infant level 2: Ondara 61 - 25 DBC 08

First game for Rubén Velázquez's boys for a long time due to the interruption of the competitions due to the pandemic, which added to the physical difference between the two teams made the result end up being more bulky than it could have been.

Without detracting at all the superiority of the rival team, the truth is that the Dianenses entered the competition rhythm in excess, failing many shots made. They also recovered many possessions but did not finish maturing in attack.

However, it is a fully first-year team and what worries is that the work is being done correctly. The fruits of that effort will surely arrive in a very short space of time.

Female cadet level 3: DBC 06. 45 - 05 Ifach Calp

First-year cadets' first game since last December, in which, above all, it is worth highlighting the desire for basketball that all the players gave off. Faced with a physically superior team, they knew how to be very active in defense and use the pass as the best weapon in attack.

The players showed both the great step forward they have taken as a team with all the letters, and the increase in commitment to this sport that they have been feeding every day this season, with special mention of the months of interruption of the activities in which they continued to work with remarkable discipline.

Female cadet level 3: Benidorm 44 - 55 DBC 06

Ferran García's team was finishing the first phase of the competition in Benidorm. A match that faced the first two classified in the group, with the handicap of having to overcome the three points for which they lost in the first leg in Joan Fuster.

They jumped onto the court with excessive respect for their rivals and somewhat insecure, which caused some errors in shots from the basket and in the defense-attack transition.

As the minutes passed, they gained confidence and confidence, which made their best version as a team appear on the court, and thus achieve distance in the second half, ensuring both the victory and the average necessary to finish first in the group.

In the second phase they competed in the 1st zone category, an optimal level for a team like Dianense with a squad made up entirely of first-year players, in which they can continue to grow with present goals and an eye toward the future.

Level 2 female cadet: Terralfas 53 - 57 DBC 05

First match for the second-year Women's Cadet team since their last engagement at the end of December 2020.

Despite having had some casualties in the team and the problems that arose to complete the volume of programmed training sessions, the team reached this important commitment with all the options to meet the objectives set at the beginning of the season.

The game, how could it be otherwise, was full of inaccuracies and very hampered by the number of personal fouls committed as a result of the lack of rhythm of the competition.

Although they were practically all the time ahead on the scoreboard, they could not break the game, which led them to suffer in the closing stages before the local comeback attempts.

Next week they will play the last two matches of this first phase. They will be decisive to know the championship they will have to play in the second part of the season. In the hand is the pass to the Preferred Championship, that is, to be among the 32 best teams in the Community, but it will be necessary for the whole group to continue working together to achieve that merit.

Male cadet level 3: DBC 06. 48 - 60 Benidorm

Pascual Miralles players returned to the competition receiving a strong rival like Benidorm in Joan Fuster. They started a bit short of concentration but soon intoned and entered the game, making things difficult for the third classified in the group who never distanced themselves by more than ten points.

Good feelings and very positive details among some players who are undoubtedly improving their performance a lot.

Male cadet level 2: Ondara 50 - 35 DBC 05

First game after the resumption of competitions for the second-year cadets trained by Pascual Miralles. It was noted how the lack of competition tone could not be otherwise, although the desire was more than possible with the lack of preparation. They started the game by winning in the first quarter (10-12).

In the second they allowed some easy baskets and their tight defense paid off against our bad day on the outside shot. Thus the break was reached with the match even but with a local advantage (23-18).

The part of the third quarter conditioned the possibilities since Ondara came out strong and overcame, leaving with up to 18 points of advantage on the scoreboard.

The reaction in the last period with improved level in defense and greater circulation of the ball in attack allowed the competitive pulse of the first half to be resumed but it was not enough to cut the difference won by the locals.

However, congratulate the team for being able to react in difficult moments.

Male cadet level 2: DBC 05. 74 - 50 Terralfas

Second game of the year and of the week that start very well, although the lack of filming still leads to ups and downs in performance, which the rival team knew how to take advantage of to always be in the game until the break (32-28).

In the third period, the cadets are very concentrated and with the necessary extra point of intensity to achieve good defenses, which at the same time generated a lot of offensive rhythm.

The partial obtained in that quarter sentenced the game and the work that was done in the last one ended up consolidating a victory that tasted like glory and reinforced our confidence.

Male cadet level 2: Benidorm 65 - 25 DBC 05

The leader's visit to the field closed an intense week in which we had to make up for three days postponed due to the coronavirus crisis.

The cadets started the game well, competing correctly reaching the equator of the first quarter. But there, the locals put another march and it led the Dianenses to make mistakes and lose too many balls to aspire to continue disturbing them.

As on some other occasion, the worst thing was that they gave up and stopped trying to find solutions too soon, which could only lead to leaving the field with worse sensations.

This makes them learn to work more together when, like in this match, the rival surpasses them.
