The German town of Wiesbadem was the scene of the Meeuw-Cup International Tournament of swimming last weekend. A total of 22 swimmers from the Calpe Swimming Club attended this meeting, among them the dianenses Iván Kropf and Miguel Ángel Ordóñez.
In this sporting event there was a large participation with more than 600 high level swimmers from Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Germany, USA, Russia, Hungary and Spain. It was an unforgettable experience for the expedition of swimmers and relatives of the Calpino club.

The dianense Miguel Ordóñez swam 6 tests with an excellent performance and got good marks. He participated in the 50 free meters, with a record of 25.61; in the 100 free meters, with a time of 55.32, being seventh in the classification of its year, and in the 100 meters styles.
For his part, Iván Kropf swam the 400 estios, 100 breaststroke, 400 free meters, 200 breaststroke and 200 styles where he obtained very good marks.
