Firefighters rescue a German shepherd trapped in the vicinity of a school

17 September 2020 - 18: 29

Firefighters of the Provincial Consortium of Dénia has come, this noon, to the rescue of a dog, specifically, a German Shepherd, who was trapped in the vicinity of a school in Dénia. It was 14:30 p.m. when the Dénia Fire Station received the notice from the animal shelter, requesting their help in this rescue.

As explained by the fire station sergeant to Dénia.com, apparently, the dog had escaped and was wandering, scared, through the streets of Dénia. The police had already tried to pick him up, but the dog, when fleeing, had entered a narrow space; specifically, between a concrete wall and a fence, of a school, about 15 centimeters wide, preventing access to rescue him.

Three firefighters and a vehicle have moved to the place, who have cut the fence to save the German shepherd.

The dog was in good health, although scared and did not have a chip and the protector has taken care of him, for the moment, waiting for the owner of the dog to be identified.

As always, this group is available to collaborate in any situation of anguish. They are putting out fires, rescuing people in danger (even putting their lives at risk), rescuing, as is the case, animals in distress. And all this done with a very good gesture.
