Yes, there are parts of Benitachell that are quiet: the old town of Benitachell is quiet. Many areas of the municipality are highly publicized by the City Council -the beach, the walks, the sea- and many people come to enjoy them. But they are not in the quiet town, they are 7,5 kilometers away, in the beautiful residential development of Cumbre del Sol. Here residents suffer a lot from paradise: heavy traffic, difficult access to the beach, chaotic parking in many kilometers of highways, a shuttle bus going up and down the steep driveway, lots of walkers on the dangerous roads, and regular visits from rescue helicopters. But there is a future planned: more parking, more organization, charging points for electric cars… not for us who live here, but for visitors. However, the town is quiet - up to 7,5 kilometers .. That's true.
