Al Hypatia of Alexandria, which since the beginning of the year is the first ferry to sail on gas in the Mediterranean, this summer will be added its twin Marie Curie, that together with the remotorizados Nápoles y Abel Matutes they are the first of a new generation of LNG smart ships that combine eco-efficiency with the digitalization of on-board services. In addition, the shipping company has replaced the engines of three fast ferries by others more modern and efficient and less polluting, which has allowed to increase the speed of navigation, but decreasing the use of fuel, and consequently the emissions.
The shipping company, which operates 31 ships on 21 routes, has scheduled reinforcements for the summer season on the routes linking the Valencian Region with the Balearic Islands.
High speed from the Comunitat Valenciana
High speed marks the routes linking the Balearic Islands and the Valencia Region.
